Jordan & Samuel chose to have an intimate wedding at Garrison Gardens in Texarkana, Arkansas. It was truly the perfect setting for this laid-back, quiet, down-to-earth couple. I won’t lie, with it being a December wedding outdoors… it was a tad bit cold. But thankfully, the sun came out and gave us warmth throughout the day, making it absolutely perfect!

I honestly knew the day we did their engagement session, that this was going to be the prettiest wedding. They were so laid-back and willing to go with the flow, and do whatever we needed to to make their engagements happen.

Enough about that though, let’s get to what you really care about… the couple’s story. ?

HOW THEY MET:

“I received a Facebook message from Sam and found out I had been worshipping with his aunt and uncle all my life. Sam was living in Austin, TX and I was in El Dorado, AR at the time. 3 weeks after talking every day we had our first date.” – Jordan

THEIR FIRST DATE:

“We spent the weekend getting to know each other. We went to the Tyler Zoo, ate Mexican food for lunch, got coffee, and had sushi for dinner. We went to church together Sunday morning before we went back to our homes. We had our second date the next weekend… :)” – Jordan

WHAT THEY LOVE:

“Cooking dinner together, hanging out on the couch, and a walk around the neighborhood with our dog, Lyra the German Shepherd!”

“His ability to play guitar, piano, and sing. His willingness to go out of his way to make me happy. His silly personality always keeps me laughing.”
