Photographer & Educator

HI, I'M JESSICA

Engagement and couples sessions have got to be one of my all-time favorite things to photograph. There’s just something so simple and beautiful about seeing the way other couples naturally interact with each other. But usually, one of the biggest hangups, (aside from figuring out what to wear to your couples shoot,) is where the heck to actually DO your engagement/couples session! So, I’ve set out to compile a list of the 10 best engagement shoot locations in Arkansas — to help make that decision just a bit easier. 🙂

1. Upper Buffalo Wilderness Area

2. Petit Jean State Park

3. Cedar Glades Park

4. Gulpha Gorge Campground

5. Lake Catherine State Park

Now, those five out of the 10 best engagement shoot locations in Arkansas are the ones I’ve had the opportunity to shoot at. The next few locations I haven’t gotten to shoot at myself just yet, but they’re definitely on my list! So basically, you could be in the blog post at one of these! ?

6. Mount Magazine State Park

This park has one of the most gorgeous overlooks ever. A quick Google image search for “Mount magazine elopement” will show you exaaaactly what I mean. ?

7. White Rock Mountain

I can’t wait to shoot here! Another amazing overlook to get some of the most gorgeous sunset photos at.

8. Whitaker Point / Hawksbill Crag

The most iconic overlook in the state of Arkansas. You’ve probably seen it in a magazine before, and it may be all you know about Arkansas if you’ve never been here. ? I see a very vogue-esque shoot.

9. Queen Wilhelmina State Park

Yet another stunning overlook in Arkansas. What is it with all our overlooks?? And how have I missed them my entire life!?

10. Sam’s Throne

Sam’s Throne reminds me a lot of Whitaker Point, but it has its own flair too!
