When Josie reached out about booking her bridal session with me, I knew we had to do something different. Josie’s a modern, romantic, classic kinda bride. She didn’t want anything super “southern.” (Barns just aren’t her thing.) She wanted something romantic and “old-world” feeling, but with a touch of modern flair. Turns out, this Moss Mountain Farm bridal session was exactly what we needed.
In a perfect world, we’d have flown to Italy for both her bridals and her wedding — let’s be real. ?
However, we needed to find a location that would check off all of her “dream session” boxes, but would also be within a reasonable distance from her house in Arkansas. After presenting her with a couple of options from all over the state, she decided on this venue. And to be honest, I think we nailed it. Who knew we’d have our own little slice of Italy in Central Arkansas!?
It’s safe to say I’m obsessed with Moss Mountain Farm, and I truly would shoot every single bridal session from here on out there if I could.
Fun fact: you can book tours and a farm-to-table lunch at the farm! The place is truly remarkable. It’s situated on top of a mountain, overlooking the Arkansas River. It really doesn’t get much better than this around here. ? You can also stay in their cottage on the grounds, which is stunning. (When Josie used the cottage to change into her dress… we were both saying how it’d be easy for us to just live in there. It’s the cutest!)
Okay, enough about the farm. Check out these bridals, I’ll just be over here reminiscing on shooting these with the Bridgerton soundtrack playing in the background. ?
